portal for countercurrent chromatography (CCC, HSCCC)
and centrifugal partition chromatography (CPC,)
maintained at the University of Illinois
at Chicago. Collectively referred to as Countercurrent Separation (CS or CCS), the power and beauty of both HSCCC and CPC technology evolves from
the fact that the
analytes are partitioned between two immiscible phases. Only solvents
are involved and solid supports are avoided. Thus, irreversible adsorption
cannot occur, degradation is minimized, and 100% sample recovery can
be achieved.
Series of CCC 20xx Conferences: CCC 2016 Chicago (U.S.), CCC 2014 London (UK), CCC 2012 Hangzhou (China), CCC 2010 Lyon (France), CCC 2008 Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), CCC 2006 Washington/Bethesda (USA), CCC 2004 Tokyo (Japan), CCC 2002 Beijing (China), CCC 2000 London (UK)

It has been organized to help prospective users learn about the potential that CCC might offer, and also to provide a platform for information exchange among experienced users. TLP is supported by Cherry Instruments and is co-edited at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
